2nd Spring Elvington Churchyard Session - tomorrow
Elvington churchyard maintenance and wildlife conservation action - Saturday 23rd May 2-4PM
Please come along and help, there’ll be plenty of different tasks to do. We’ll be opening the churchyard during the Gardens Open day on Sunday 7th June so will be doing some prep for that on the 23rd.
Some of the wildlife actions we’ve done in the churchyard are bearing fruit with yellow rattle finally taking hold in a small enclosed grave area, which is very good news.
I’ll also be around in the churchyard on the morning of 23rd if that is better for anyone.

Elvington Churchyard will be open, explore the gardens of Elvington.
Some gardens will have plants for sale and refreshments.
Teas at the village hall.
11-4pm. Entry £5, maps at house next to village hall. Pay at first garden
