ST CRUX FUND RAISING EVENT November 9th

More volunteers needed and donations please!

The St Crux fund raising event for the church is coming up - November 9th 2024. Please put the date in your diary and come along and support.

Volunteers needed to run stalls and get ’stuff’ to St Crux and clear up afterwards.  Please contact Alison (07939 979816) if you would like to help or have donations (cakes, bric-a-brack, books, other saleable items).

AUTUMN MONTHLY CHURCHYARD SESSIONS

The next sessions are:

  • Saturday 19th October   2-4pm
  • Saturday 23rd November  2-4pm
  • Saturday 14th December  2-4pm

Decorating the church for Harvest celebrations 

Decorating the church for harvest on Saturday 19th October from 10am. Please come along and help if you’d like to, and come with any flowers/produce you have.

In the harvest service we’ll be supporting Care Cent York,  giving money and any specific items they indicate they need. Please see what need here.   We  will also have a sale after the service of any produce donated.

1st December United 8 with Archbishop of York

There will be only one service in the morning on Dec 1st, a United 8 at Naburn at 10.30am with Archbishop to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the re-opening of Naburn Church. I do hope you will be able to join us for this wonderful milestone in the history of St Matthews Naburn.
