Children @ Church

Children @ Church

Children and families are an important part of church life; here are some of the things that are great ways for kids to be involved:

  • Vision-on-Sunday - a modern, lively club for children taking place during the communion service (1st Sunday each month). The children usually come to "The Barn" - next to the church - and are returned to the service just before the end to receive communion/blessing.
  • Family Service - usually the 3rd Sunday each month, a lively service very applicable to children
  • Informal Service - usually 6pm 2nd Sunday - a modern, relaxed, interactive service where kids can be truly involved in the service
  • Sutton Family Events - about once a month 4pm Sutton village hall, activities, service and dinner!
  • Churchyard activities - children love helping out in the churchyard, tending the meadow, conservation activities etc.
  • Helping decorating the church - often before seasonal events (Christmas, Easter, Harvest etc) we will hold a drop-in session to decorate the church, usually with children's events
  • Harvest activities - such as the produce competition, harvest service etc
  • Special services - Christmas, Easter etc.
