NOTE CHANGE OF DATE TO SUNDAY 23RD JULY due to bad weather
Elvington churchyard summer session this coming Sunday 22nd July 2-4pm, please come along and help. We'll be working in the meadow removing 'the hay' after scything earlier in the week and sowing yellow rattle seeds. Yellow rattle is parasitic on grass and helps limit grasses, allowing flowers to flourish. Also planting some ragged robin plants for flowering next year. And planting some shrubs, clearing weeds etc. Please do come along for as much time as you can spare, or just come and look and we can explain the plans for different areas of the churchyard. Any questions please contact Alison Stead 07939979816
