A weekend to collect a ‘passport’ and explore the Churches within our partnership, to pray for our communities and to meet others.
All 8 Churches will be open on these dates between 9am and 5pm, with prayers said at various times. We hope you will call in at one or all of our Churches throughout the weekend.
All modes of transport welcome... please feel free to use whatever transport you enjoy.... cycles, horse, bikes, motor bike, sports cars.......
Saturday 29th July
- 4 pm East Cottingwith (YO42 4TL) ‘United 8’ Celtic Communion followed by Mead and Honey cake
Sunday 30th July (Prayer/service times)
- 8am Escrick (YO19 6LE) ‘United 8’ Holy Communion (BCP) Said service (Toilet)
- 9.30am Naburn (YO19 4RS) Drinks and pastries from 9am... prayers at 9.30am (Toilet)
- 10.15am Stillingfleet (YO19 6SJ) Prayers at 10.15am, cold drinks available
- 11.30am Escrick (YO19 6LE) Hot drinks and biscuits from 11am, prayers at 11.30am (Toilet)
- 12.15pm Thorganby (YO19 6DB) Prayers at 12.15pm, cold drinks available
- 2 pm Wheldrake (YO19 6AA) Lunch stop from 12.30pm, hot drinks available (please bring packed lunch). Prayers at 2pm (Toilet)
- 3pm Elvington (YO41 4AD) Prayers and cold drinks (Toilet)
- 4pm Sutton (YO41 4BN) ‘United 8’ Outside Holy Communion, hot drinks and scones available. Please bring rug/ folding chair. (Toilet)
