We will be starting up regular monthly volunteer sessions in the churchyard. Jobs including weeding flowerbeds, planting shrubs and sowing wild flower seed, with sessions on:-
- Saturday 24th February 2- 4pm
- Saturday 23rd March. 2 - 4pm
- Saturday 20th April 2 - 4pm
- Saturday 18th May 2 - 4pm
Please come along for as much or as little time as you can spare.
If you have any shrubs, plants or ferns you’d like to donate, please get in touch.
We would really welcome your support in helping to maintain the churchyard as a quiet place to remember loved ones and as a place to reflect and enjoy nature. The churchyard is part of the Elvington Conservation area and as such is a vital wildlife area in our community.
We welcome willing hands from anyone who fancies a bit of fresh air and to make a difference to the environment we live in, walk through and treasure. Please get in touch if you’re interested or want more details.
