Come along and enjoy coffee and cake and help raise money for Ukrainian refugees here in Yorkshire
Svetlana is a refugee from Ukraine now living in our community. Here are some of her words: ‘I grew up in Kharkiv, but everything changed after the war. I ran with my family to Poland. There, to relieve stress, fear and tension I decided to paint, and it opened a new chapter in my life.’ Svetlana will be displaying some of her art and would love the opportunity to meet people and discuss her work.
This is instead of the drop-in cafe in the church.
