Elvington churchyard maintenance and wildlife conservation action
I’m organising another Spring churchyard session for Saturday May 23rd, 2- 4pm.
Please do come along and help, there’ll be plenty of different tasks to do. We’ll be opening the churchyard during the Gardens Open day on Sunday 7th June so will be doing some prep for that on the 23rd.
Some of the wildlife actions we’ve done in the churchyard are bearing fruit with yellow rattle finally taking hold in a small enclosed grave area, which is very good news.
I’ll also be around in the churchyard on the morning of 23rd if that is better for anyone. Please come along and help for as much time as you can spare.
