In the wake of the Archbishop’s weekend in our deanery, our churches will be running again our course in the basics of the Christian faith during October and November. The Start! course covers ‘God, Jesus and the journey of life in six sessions’. It is suitable for those completely new to Christianity and also as a refresher for those who have been involved for years.
Each session is about an hour long and includes video clips, discussion and a chance to ponder. To cater for people’s differing availability, the sessions will run once on Monday mornings in Elvington and again on Thursday evenings in Wheldrake. There will be a break for the half-term week. Dates and times are:
